Human-centric Vision & Learning Group
Max Planck Fellow Group
Our group aims to further the state of knowledge towards a more holistic machine understanding of human appearance and activity that is strongly grounded in the context and interactive setting of the observed subject. On a technical level, we research algorithms, methods and representations for human- and interaction-centric analysis of our world from videos, images and other sensor data. Of particular interest are settings in which humans interact with artificial systems (e.g., robots) and with each other. The group is led by Prof. Dr. Otmar Hilliges; the funding comes from a Max Planck Fellowship.
The groups of Otmar Hilliges are distributed between ETH Zurich and the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems. Our main webpage is here: AIT Lab.
