Our scientists have access to state-of-the-art High Performance Computing facilities, including an in-house cluster with CPU nodes, energy-efficient GPU accelerators, and over 3 petabytes of storage. The CPU nodes are optimized for research applications, with many featuring 3TB of RAM and 192 cores. The cluster also includes 1,100+ GPUs, such as Nvidia H100s, with a peak performance exceeding 30 PetaFLOP/s. For additional computing power, researchers can use the Max Planck Computing and Data Facility in Garching.

A dedicated team supports researchers in optimizing their use of these resources, ensuring efficient and scalable applications.
