Our Administration supports science and the institute in all administrative matters. Their tasks range from the preparation of employment contracts, travel expense accounting, financial planning, accounting to purchasing research equipment.

Scientific Coordination

The Scientific Coordination Office (SCO) provides a wide range of services to the institute's researchers, interacts with local, national, and international academic and industrial partners, and manages outreach and graduate education.

IT Services

Our IT designs, purchases and operates the central IT infrastructure of the institute. The infrastructure consists of network and firewalls, email and remote access services, file services and backup.

Central Scientific Facilities

Central Scientific Facilities (CSF, also known as ZWE from its German “Zentrale wissenschaftliche Einrichtungen”) at our institute provide support for researchers across various disciplines. A total of six facilities are located on both campuses, where they assist in cutting-edge technologies in robotics and AI.

At our institute, we offer a range of support resources to help you navigate various situations. Our support network includes individuals and services that can provide guidance on conflicts, equal opportunities, and staff concerns.  In addition to these contacts, we also offer:

  • Mediation services for conflict resolution
