Decline Now: A Combinatorial Model for Algorithmic Collective Action


We study collective action in a combinatorial model inspired by the DoorDash \#DeclineNow worker campaign.
In this model, the effectiveness of collective action decreases with the amount of worker oversupply, explaining real-world platform practices, but also pointing towards possible strategies [File Icon].
