Living artefact of collective action cases
We collect reported cases of algorithmic collective action in the gig economy and maintain a living artefact on Github [
].
There are many documented cases of algorithmic collective action efforts in algorithmically managed workspaces across various sectors. By searching forums, Facebook groups, Reddit threads, newspaper articles and scientific literature we collected 30 cases of algorithmic collective action and grouped them by the applied mechanism. We offer the collection as a living archive on Github where we discuss each case in detail. We would welcome community contributions and hope it can serve as a useful resource for researchers and practicioners.
