Scientific Coordination Office Head of Scientific Coordination Office
I am the Scientific Coordinator of the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, Stuttgart and Tübingen, and heading the institute's Scientific Coordination Office.
Previously, I worked as Scientific Coordinator on the establishment of the Institute's new Tübingen site and coordinated a European graduate network. Before turning to science management, I studied physics in Basel and Stuttgart, and completed my Ph.D. in theoretical physics at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and the University of Stuttgart.
The Scientific Coordination Office provides an extensive variety of services to the institute's researchers, interacts with local, national, and international partners from academia and industry, and manages public relations and graduate education.
As Scientific Coordinator, I support the Managing Directors in the scientific management of the institute. My tasks and responsibilities include:
