My main research interest is developing various Small-Scale Robotics for environmental, biomechanical, and biomedical applications. In small-scale, I deeply believe in the synergistic nature of (1) design, (2) material, (3) fabrication, (4) control, and (5) application. And such a philosophy is guiding my research focus.
Our project "Active control of stiffness distribution adjustment and its application in underwater soft robots" has been funded by the DFG SPP 2100 "Soft Material Robotic Systems"! If you are interested in this project and if you would like to join me as a graduate student, postdoc, or other types of scholar (e.g. Humboldt), I would be very happy to support you. Please contact me through email.
