In my current research, I am focused on studying the bio- and neuromechanics of a hypothesized sensor organ in birds.

I have defended two master projects while being a student of the research-oriented double degree MEME Erasmus Mundus programme in Evolutionary biology. Within the framework of this programme, I spent two semesters at Uppsala University (UU) and two semesters at Ludwig-Maximillian-University of Munich (LMU). At UU I worked on the Master's thesis at the palaeobiological P. Ahlberg's Lab. My research was on studying long-bone features of the extinct early tetrapod Hyneria [1]. At LMU I got an M.Sc. in Evolution, Ecology, Systematics. In this Master's thesis project, I studied the evolutionary morphology of medium and small-scale frogs.

In my spare time, I create sculptures and design furniture inspired by wildlife. Besides, I enjoy creating movies and doing sport.
