Haptische Intelligenz Intern Past Visitor
Preeti Vyas joined the Haptic Intelligence Department as a Mitacs Globalink Research Fellow. She is working in the field of social-physical human-robot interaction to explore the application domain of robotics in rehabilitation and physical therapy.
Preeti is a graduate student at McGill University doing a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Jeremy Cooperstock. She is associated with the Shared Reality Lab where she is working on several projects involving haptic perception, haptic interaction, user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design, and user-centered interactive systems. Her graduate research thesis is on human motor learning in physical activities using haptic feedback. Her research interests spans broadly in the field of Human-Computer Interaction, Haptic Interaction, Haptic Perception, UI/UX Research, Robotic Manipulators, Applied Machine Learning, and Motor Learning in Humans.
