I am currently working as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Postdoctoral Fellow in Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems. After graduation from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, I finished my PhD in Neuroscience at Koç University Research Center for Translational Medicine. I have been awarded ARVO Developing Country Eye Research Fellowship and EVER Young Investigator Award in 2019. My research areas are molecular pathogenesis of ocular surface diseases and development of nanomaterials for neural stimulation.
